It's great to be back in the office again ... sadly August will be another short month for me .. =(
I will be away 1 week to Northern part of Malaysia for an audit, then 11 days in Tawau Sabah for my hard earned vacation. This also means I have only 2 weeks to finish all my outstanding reports, follow ups ... etc in the office before I'm out again.
This is quite a challenging month, so I really have live my life according to my schedules. Just to update some of you what happened in the last 2 weeks :-
1) Was in Southern part of Malaysia for a week - Muar, Segamat, Batu Pahat, Johor Bahru, Kota Tinggi for my annual delivery audit - Lotsa seafood, and some booze (JB's pub is little different from KL, wanna know more, then ask me out for a drink ... of coz teh tarik is on you)
2) My company's Thailand Export team was in town for 3 days, so we went for crab & seafood near kepong. 2 tables .. and we eat alot that night, yah I ate alot too ... We then went to Passion for our drinking session the 2nd night ... finished 2 botols that night, amazing .. =)
3) Visited Port Klang - West Port, very advance port, look even more impressive their video presentation ..
4) Bought my gal a V3i .. she loves it so much ! I was kinda amazed how fast she learned how to operate Motorola's OS within days .. She was using a nokia.
5) Upgraded to an O2 xda II mini. On the move most of the time, so need a pda phone for convenient sake ( Just an excuse for getting a new phone, anyway got it at a good price - Thanks Jessie )
6) Bought very nice roses for my gal for our 3rd month anniversary ... now everyone in the office is asking me for flowers .. =)

and what's happening in this 1/2 weeks before going for Northern Audit ...
1) Monthly costing reporting
2) KPI Management report & presentation
3) Prudent Team management - follow up .. =(
4) Monthly meeting with 3PL - Performance review
5) Monthly meeting with distributor (Main Customer)
6) Monthly Log Cost reporting for Finance Department
7) Daily Operation Issues =(
8) More meetings ...
9) And more meetings ...
Then ... 29 August .... he he .. Tawau !! Finally going to Tawau after thinking for 6 years ! 8 days just enjoying in a small town called Tawau ... my hard earned vacation for year 2006 !!
I can't wait ... 29 August ... Well I guess this is what u call a city life ... everyday is a planned day. Wait till you see my September schedule ..

Best Friend =)
Have you ever experienced meeting a friend you knew long time back, at a shopping centre, or maybe during lunch or dinner and you can never remember their names ... and the worst part of it all, they remember your name ...
This morning as I am preparing some monthly reports for the management, I remember a friend .. one of my best friends that I will surely remember till the rest of my life. This guy is really a good friend, and I think we should be life buddy till we die if he's still around. It's just so sad when you find someone you can talk everything to, someone you really wanna be with during your free time, someone you do so many funny & stupid things together, and after that laugh at those silly things that you've done, and this friend is just someone that I was lucky enough to spend just a few years with, until he met with a road accident and pass away. Writing this post brought back some old memories, and of course sad memories as well.
I get to know this guy in secondary school. Can't remember exactly how we met, but I'm sure we get to talk alot because we sit at the same row @ front row of the class due to our heights. I'm a gentle boy during my form 1 or 2 days, and this guy actually took care of me then. Haha .. I can still remember, after school we will just go for drinks, or food outside the school. Because he rides a bike to shool (Those big black auntie bike), I would just sit at the back (The metal rack back of the black seat) and off we go, drink, food ... and sometimes to arcade centre ... Ha ha .. I also remember there were a few times we have to run for our life during police raid ... ke ke .. those were the good & fun days.
When we reach form 3, due to the school's strict requirement for everyone to join a club, and we are so damn sick of those normal clubs that other classmates are joining, we decided to join the ERT club ! And history were made that year ! We were the first 2 boys that joined the ERT club in the school's history, ok ok .. ERT means Ekonomi Rumah Tangga ! Ha ha .. no joke, but we actually have the balls to join a girl club ! Come to think of it, it's not a bad idea as well, we were treated like babies in the club ... everytime the club cook for some events, mainly for VIPs, we will have our 'fair' share of the food, but of course with some hard work la, providing the muscles to carry heavy stuff for the gals ...
When we reach form 4, we got separated because I continue with science and he did arts .. but this fellow still ride this bike (this time a yamaha ES5) to my place, and we use to chat long hours in the afternoon right under the big tree just infront of my house.
I can still remember that night, when I came home from math tuition, my dad and the rest of the family waited for me in the living hall, it's more like a welcoming party whereby everyone just sit still in the living, with only my dad standing ... and he said ... ' boy ... sit down, I got something to tell you ... your classmates just called ... and .... ' wow ... what a sad night. After that My dad sent me to my friend's place ... and was told that he was accidentally hooked to the side handle of the container being pulled by a prime mover when he's returning home with his bike, got dragged for some distance, and died on the spot due to head injuries.
Oh well, miss that fellow alot ... every CNY, I'll surely be in Klang to visit some friends, and sure enough I will need to pass by his house every year ...
Not sure if other friends of his can still remember him, but this fellow will surely be in my heart ... ha ha .. always wonder what he'll be doing now if he's still alive .. hmm .. most prob be married with a few kids =)

Material World vs True Love ..
I realized that some modern people actually build their relationship or worst still, marriage on material stuff !
What happened to true love ? what happened to communication ? What happened to so many other 'beautiful' things about relationship and marriage ? Compromise ? What is happening to the world ?
The lucky girl will expect so many things from the poor guy ... money to support, a house to stay in .. bla bla bla ... sadly, but there are some who thinks like this.
God bless everyone of us with a life partner that will go through tough times, sweet moments together. From all the challenges, and experiences of overcoming these challenges, the relationship can be stronger. These stuff should be the foundation of the relationship, not material things to strengthen the 'bond' of the couple.
Well ... What more to say ... discounts at departmental stores comes with terms and conditions, so there should be no surprise things like this is happening ..
So remember, build your relationship not based on material stuff, or earthly stuff ya ! It will not last ... =)

Football @ Clubbing - two in one
It's work, work and work lately ..
Things seems to be all over the place, there are deadlines everyday, my brain can't seems to keep up with the issues that keeps coming up ... all I can do now, is to solve one thing at one time, but being a perfectionist, I'm concern on the quality of my work.
Apart from work, hang out with blogger Ubean and his best friend Stuart (He's not little at all) , Goon and YZ at Bar Flame last Sat to watch Portugal vs England match. It was good time as blogger Ubean was really enjoying himself ... He actually gone a little crazy too !
Later when it went to Extra Time ...
Generally a good night out with the guys and YinSze ..
